Temporary Restrictions on Barge Handling – ECT Euromax Terminal Rotterdam
Dear Business Partners,
Due to the expansion of the ECT Euromax Terminal in Rotterdam and the installation of new equipment, barge handling capacity will be significantly limited from 16 April 2026 for a period of at least two weeks.
During this period, fixed windows will be temporarily unavailable, and minimum call sizes of 100 moves will be mandatory.
We will review possible individual solutions for your bookings. However, it should generally be expected that containers to and from the Euromax Terminal may need to be transported by truck via an alternative terminal. Any additional costs incurred will be advised in advance and charged to you accordingly once accrued.
Please take this situation into consideration when planning your container movements, particularly with regard to potential delays.
Please note that we cannot assume liability for any consequential costs arising from possible service delays caused by the above-mentioned restrictions.
